I got a gift in the mail today from Pat. It was a baseball jersey style shirt that says "I love a man in a stetson and spurs. US CAVALRY" Ack! I love love LOVE this shirt! Of course, I love my husband and this shirt reminds me of him, so it's a double goodie for me.

Today is an okay day. I didn't sleep past noon...lol. I was actually awake at 11:45. I know, my life is sad. I still haven't gotten to the post office yet to mail off all these packages. I have two for Pat and one for Amber & Amanda, Britney's friends from Cali. I'd like to think that I will get there tomorrow so that everyone can  get their stuff.

I met our new neighbors today. Nice young couple with 4 kids. I hope we can all get along and there are no problems. They don't have any pets, so I apologized in advance if Tiberius makes too much noise. They are dog people though and said it wouldn't bother them.

Well, not much else happening right now. I think I'm going to go watch a movie with Brit and just relax for the evening. Catch everyone later!

Yay! It's March!

Woot! We made it to March....YAY!!!

I am glad for a couple of reasons...1. MARCH MADNESS...enough said. 2. I only have 6 more months until I can see my husband. He's been gone for a solid 6 weeks and there has been enough drama go down in that time period, that I'll be glad to see it all come to an end. I just need a break from all the crap that goes down within our families.

My cat, Seamus, is sitting in the window sill looking at all the birds that are pecking in the yard and is chirping at them. So between him simultaneously looking like a gargoyle and chirping, I don't know whether to laugh at him or make fun of him...lol. I don't know where Tiberius is at this moment and to be honest, I'm not going to go looking for him either. I took him on a walk today using his gentle lead, which he HATES, and had a pleasant walk...minus stopping every few minutes and untangling his front paw from attempting to remove his lead. I hope to take him out later on as well and hopefully a few more walks during the day will curb some of his destructive and chewing behaviors. We're going to start his training again as well with the hope of having a nice, well behaved dog when Pat returns home.

Tonight I think I am really going to attempt to go to the gym and work out for a little bit. Of course it would be nice if I had a workout buddy, but I don't and I am going to have to accept that fact. I have to hold myself accountable and since I have stalled out, it's time to shake things up a bit in my routine. Get off my lazy ass and do something about it. I can't have my husband coming home to a wife that is 150 lbs lighter and still has all the skin that used to be occupied by 150 lbs of fat...ewwww, gross. I will start my bathing suit search again tomorrow in the hopes that I will find something so that I can start with the water aerobics class, which sounds like fun! I might even drag Celina and my mom with me to that class, make it a family night...lol.

So for now, I am going to hop off here...grab some lunch and a protein drink...wait for Britney to come home and then I'll go out to pick up a couple parcels from the post office and drop off our recycling stuff. We all have to do our part ya know!
